IGNORANCE IS NEVER AN EXCUSE. IF YOU DIDN'T READ THESE, YOU ARE STILL IN TROUBLE.

First and foremost, we operate for a 13+ age group. Keep this in mind. Anything overly graphic or in need of a NSFW tag does not belong, and you will get banned after repeated infractions. If things get a bit graphic, but not to an extreme level, use spoiler tags and a reason above them. Or, better yet, just leave them out!

That being said. We are more lenient in this regard than you might expect. I.E., if it would fly in a PG13 movie it would work here. So a pretty broad definition. JSYK.

No Godmodding.

Godmodding is when your character, basically, acts like a god. Either they know something they couldn't possibly know in-context, or are acting much more powerful than is realistic/warranted. If you don't know if it's Godmodding, ask your RP partner or a staff member. If you don't know what Godmodding is in the first place, and this isn't helping, look it up on the Internet.

No Spamming.

Spamming is when you post without reason. You can not 'bump' a thread without asking an admin or mod, and you should never have to double-post (posting twice in a row, in the same thread), unless it's a solo Rp and there has been six hours between posts. Again, if you're unsure of if it's spam, ask a mod or admin. And if this section isn't helpful and you're confused, look it up on the Internet, please. A post under 75 words is also considered spam in-Rp.

No Flaming/Greifing/Trolling

This should go without saying. Look up the terms if you’re confused, but basically, do unto other as you would have them do unto you.

No continuing Flaming, Griefing or Trolling.

If someone else started it, you just stay out of it. Sit down, be quiet, and ignore it. Weeell, maybe politely tell the jerkface to shut up, but definitely no joining in on it.

Have fun.

Arguably the most important rule.

Important.

You have three strikes, then you're out. Two warnings In a strike, so basically six chances to mess up before we grudgingly lift the ban hammer upon your head. A warning can be earned if, say, you get a reputation for spamming, or we all know you're a jerk. We don't strike people for their first slip up, but if they repeat said escapade it kinda gets hard to sympathize. A mod or admin can give up to an entire strike per violation of the rules. As a general standard, spam isn't a huge deal, seldom worth a strike, only a warning. But repeated Godmodding and any flaming is going to get you some warnings in plural.

After three strikes, you get a week-long ban. Then, you get two more strikes until we ban you for a month, and then one strike before we ban you permanently.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED. YOU WERE BANNED FOR A REASON, AND DON'T THINK WE CAN'T SEE THROUGH YOUR CLEVER RUSE.

If you think a Mod is abusing their power, do not confront them. Contact either another mod, or an admin, and we'll sort it out.

If you want to dispute a strike or warning, do it via a PM to an admin, who will then get all the details. If you were banned, one of us probably has our E-mail or Skype somewhere.

DISCLAIMER: If you submit any 'work' to this site, the admins are not legally obligated to remove this work unless it was previously copyrighted, before submission. If, after submitting said work, you want it removed, please consult a mod or admin. All submitted works are the property of the site, and any owners thereof.

If you don't want us to use this work for perpetuity, just don't give it to us, or speak with an admin before doing so.

ALSO: The administrative staff claims right to the fictional setting.

HELPFUL TIP: Never, ever type your posts in the post box! BBcode is pretty easy, and there's a lot less risk of Forumotion lagging out and deleting your post if you just type everything out in Word/Google docs or something.
